Epithets: the titles pigs die with

After every battle each pig is given one epithet, based on what it did. Fallen pigs carry theirs into the Ancestry. There are fourteen in total, checked in this order, and the first match wins.

The list, in priority order

  1. Last Pig Standing. Was the last pig alive on its team and got at least 2 kills.
  2. The Butcher. 5 or more kills.
  3. The Executioner. 3 or 4 kills.
  4. The Truffle Expert. Foraged 4 or more times.
  5. Mushroom Sniffer. Foraged 2 or 3 times.
  6. The Stumbler. Foraged once, got no kills and survived.
  7. Ghost of the Battlefield. Fled 3 or more times and survived.
  8. The Coward. Fled 2 or more times.
  9. Punching Bag. Was stunned 3 or more times.
  10. The Survivor. At least one kill and still alive.
  11. Died Fighting. At least one kill, then fell.
  12. Loyal Soldier. Survived on the winning team without a kill.
  13. Fallen Warrior. Fell without a kill.
  14. The Brawler. Everything else: survived without a kill and the team lost.

Reading the order

Because the first match wins, a pig with five kills is The Butcher even if it also fled twice. Killing outranks foraging, foraging outranks fleeing, and fleeing outranks simply surviving.

Earning one on purpose

  • The Butcher: Strength and a good target list. Stun and grenades help.
  • The Truffle Expert: keep Intelligence high enough to forage and hurt enough to need it, with food on the map.
  • Ghost of the Battlefield: high Intelligence so the pig flees early, and enough speed to stay alive.
  • Punching Bag: get stunned a lot. A low Will makes it easy. Nobody aims for this one.
