The studio runs in your browser at pigwars.app/studio. You do not need an account to try it, and nothing leaves your device until you submit. Here is what each part does.
Six garments: t-shirt, pants, shorts, dress, short coat and long coat. Each one is cut from the pig's own body, so it fits and follows every animation. In the game a pig wears at most one garment per part of the body, so a dress replaces a t-shirt and pants, and a long coat replaces a short one. The wardrobe takes the clashing one off for you.
Tap a swatch or choose any colour. It fills the whole garment and sits under everything else, so it is also what shows wherever your texture or images have transparent parts.
A texture is one image repeated over the whole garment: stripes, camouflage, tartan, polka dots. Scale, rotation and shift move it around, opacity lets the base colour through, and the checkbox tints it with the base colour instead of replacing it. A PNG with transparency works too.
Images are stickers: a logo, a slogan, a drawing. You can add as many as you like. Each one sits on one side of the pig (front, back, left or right) and has its own position across, height, size, rotation, opacity and a mirror switch.
Drag to turn the pig and scroll or pinch to zoom. Spin turns it for you and Pig hides the body. The small square in the corner is the flat texture the game will actually use; click it to enlarge. What you see on the pig is built from that very picture, so what you see is what the game shows, apart from lighting.
1024 px is the default and the recommended one. A garment only uses a part of the pig's texture sheet, so a 30 cm image comes out at about 60 pixels wide at 512 and about 120 at 1024. Choose 512 only if you want a lighter file.
Press Submit for review. You need to be signed in with a verified email. Give it a name of 3 to 40 characters, choose free or a price of 50, 100 or 250 truffles, and confirm that you made it or may share every image in it. Limits: three skins waiting for review at a time, and five submissions a day. After that, follow it on your skins; the next steps are in the community skins guide.
