Truffles: earning, spending, and what they are not

Truffles are the in-game currency. You earn them by playing and spend them on community skins. They are not for sale, for anyone, at any price.

What they are

A number on your account, kept by the server. They have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold, traded or refunded. They never make a pig stronger: everything they buy is cosmetic. The numbers below are today's; the game is early and they can change.

How you earn them

  • The daily bonus: 5 truffles, once a day, that you collect yourself: tap Collect in the skin shop or on the skins page. Nothing pays it for you, and a day runs on UTC time.
  • Winning a battle: 12 truffles.
  • Losing a battle: 5 truffles. Pigs die; the bank does not care.
  • Limit: 240 truffles a day from battles, about twenty wins.

What they buy

Skins in the community collection that have a price of 50, 100 or 250 truffles. In the game, open a pig's wardrobe, tap Edit, then Community. On the website, the skins page has a Buy button on every skin in the collection. Your balance is at the top of the shop and on the skins page.

Wearing what you bought

A skin belongs to one garment. In the wardrobe, the card of that garment gets a Skin button; each tap moves to the next skin you own for it, and back to the plain garment. Other players see your pig in the skin you wear.

Free skins

Skins whose author chose "free" are not for sale. They are prizes: after a battle you can watch a reward ad and get a random cosmetic, and free community skins are in that draw. A cosmetic you already own can be turned into a little XP with one more ad, as always.

If you make skins

  • When your skin reaches the collection you get it for free.
  • Every time someone buys it you receive 20% of the price, at least 1 truffle, up to 500 truffles a day.
  • Income from sales is capped each day, so buying your own skin from a second account is not a way to make truffles.

If a balance looks wrong

Every change to your balance is written down with its reason. Write to support@pigwars.app and say roughly when; we can read the trail.
