The wardrobe: how a pig gets dressed

Skins, custom outfits, garments, props and the shop: where everything is and what it does.

Every pig has its own wardrobe, so dressing one never changes another. It opens from the stable. There is a live 3D preview of the pig at the top; drag it to spin the pig round and look at the back.

Two panes

  • Skins. A grid of ready-made looks, plus a card called Custom that holds the outfit you build yourself. Tap a card to see it on the pig, then Equip to keep it.
  • Edit. The things you own and can put on, one card each: tap to put on, tap again to take off. Done saves the outfit and takes you back.

Nothing is written until you press Equip or Done. If you back out, the pig is exactly as it was.

Building a custom outfit

  1. Open the wardrobe and choose the Custom card.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Tap a garment to put it on. The pig changes as you tap.
  4. On a garment that has more than one look, tap its Skin button. Each tap moves to the next look you own and, after the last one, back to the plain garment.
  5. Tap Done, then Equip.

What you can put on

  • Garments. The six base garments, free for everyone. A pig wears one per layer; the garment you tap last replaces a clashing one.
  • Garment looks. Six plain colours for each garment, free, and every community skin you own for it.
  • Props with a bonus. Weapons and gear that add a little to a pig's stats. They are locked until the pig has the right skill and level; the card tells you which with a line starting Locked.
  • Cosmetic props. Hats and the like, which change nothing but the look. You win them from rewards; the card says Cosmetic only.

None of it is paid for with real money. The only currency in the game is truffles, and you earn them by playing.

Getting more skins

Tap Community on the Edit pane to open the shop: skins made by other players, with their likes and their price. Buy one, close the shop, and it appears on the Skin button of its garment. The full story is in the truffles guide.

Other players see it

In a battle with other people, they see the pig in the outfit it is allowed to wear. If you ask for a skin you do not own, the server leaves it off for everybody; the plain garment stays.

Troubleshooting

  • The Skin button is missing on a garment. You own no extra look for it yet. Open the shop.
  • A prop says Locked. The pig needs the skill and the level named on the card.
  • The pig lost a garment. Putting on a second garment on the same layer takes the first one off. A dress covers the top and the bottom.
